I don’t believe I’m overreacting about this whole abuse thing going on.
However, the way everyone keeps acting is making me think I’m losing my mind. Everyone is so calm about it.
I guess the guy had a bunch of Parkinson’s Meds in his pocket and he ended up giving it to one of the caregivers, wanting them to take it away, and he started crying saying he was never going to see some of the people there again.
I said to the roommate “I guess he should have thought about that before he put his hands on his wife.”
Her response: “Well, he clearly has issues but he can be really fun to have around.”
My response: “Abusers are manipulative. They are charming. How else do you think they are able to get into a relationship?”
Why am I the only one really outraged by this?
